My Weekend of Fun!!
This weekend was amazing although it rained. There were so many deals to be had, I'm sure I didn't find them all but what I did get I absolutely love. A few of the things I didn't get a picture of since they were in the garage and a few things have already been stored away. For whatever reason I store many finds away, like a squirrel with his nuts. Doesn't make much since but it is what it is. I hope everyone in blog land is having a great week and I hope to blog more often. ~Many Blessings Michelle

Fall...almost!!
There's a chill in the air today and tonight we're having lows in the 40's. It's autumn or it feels like it anyway and I'm so excited! I love this time of year. By the time summer is over with I feel worn out, autumn is my time to get rejuvenated. So after my son goes to sleep I've been busy sewing pumpkins and candy corn. The pumpkins are my favorite and I've already sold quite a few at the shop. I've been using vintage chenille and buttons for these but I'm running low on my supplies and use the chenille for my Christmas creations also, so I'm now on the hunt for more. If I could stayed focused on buying what I need instead of what I want I think my supplies would be fine. Every time I'm in the shop I find something I just can't live without and since I've been going in at least 2 times a week I'm spending more than I make! And on that note I'm inviting everyone to come out and join us for the Fall Sale this Saturday Sept. 18th at The Junk Asylum in Park View, IA. http://www.thejunkasylum.com/. I promise you won't be disappointed. Have a fabulous weekend and enjoy these cooler days. ~Michelle

A New Start...
Change...the good, the bad, and of course the ugly. My summer of dreams shattered to the floor like a prized piece of ironstone when my husband told me he didn't want our family, our marriage and that he thought he was in love with someone else. Truly, I thought our marriage was darn near perfect, but as Gomer Pile would say surrrprise, surrrprise, surrprise! So instead of moving to Germany I've moved back to Iowa to be with my family and make a new start. Uncertain of what the future may hold, I thank God for each new day and that he blessed my life with my dear friend Tony. I would've never had made it without you. You've listen to me cry, get angry and babble on an on, not judging me for the decisions I've made. You've supported me this entire time and I will never be able to thank you enough, you truly are a blessing! So as I start this new journey I figure maybe the best is yet to come! ~Michelle
