There's a chill in the air today and tonight we're having lows in the 40's. It's autumn or it feels like it anyway and I'm so excited! I love this time of year. By the time summer is over with I feel worn out, autumn is my time to get rejuvenated. So after my son goes to sleep I've been busy sewing pumpkins and candy corn. The pumpkins are my favorite and I've already sold quite a few at the shop. I've been using vintage chenille and buttons for these but I'm running low on my supplies and use the chenille for my Christmas creations also, so I'm now on the hunt for more. If I could stayed focused on buying what I need instead of what I want I think my supplies would be fine. Every time I'm in the shop I find something I just can't live without and since I've been going in at least 2 times a week I'm spending more than I make! And on that note I'm inviting everyone to come out and join us for the Fall Sale this Saturday Sept. 18th at The Junk Asylum in Park View, IA.

~♥ Hi Michelle... sucha gorgeous day... yesterday was a true fall day... love the cool temps! your chenille punkins & candy corns are sooo cute... you do a great job...just lovely! prolly will not be at junkasylum tomorrow morn.. talked to melissa yesterday & said they had it pretty well covered... so may go sunday & tweek everything a bit... i may have some chenille bedspreads if u like? lemme know what u may need, be glad to help a fellow junker =) have u been over to antique/junk mall in cvalley yet? in coal valley, illinois? just wondering.. keep up your lovely hand*dids... have a great week*end. keep in touch.
